The Original Swagway hoverboard uses a special Mini 3-prong charger port due to the Lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries. This charger port directly connects your battery to the charger, and the mini size is designed to prevent the user from plugging in a standard battery 3-prong or XLR charger made for sealed lead acid (SLA) batteries, which could damage Li-ion batteries. We offer these charger ports with a choice of 2-pin or 4-pin connectors. Note that the white connector is larger than the threaded nut inside diameter, so cutting and splicing of wires will be necessary during installation of this replacement wiring harness. Please refer to the photograph to ensure that both connectors match what your hoverboard requires.
